1. Where is the meeting being held?
The meeting is in Grapevine (Dallas) Texas at the beautiful, exciting Gaylord Texan Hotel and Convention Center, just minutes from DFW Airport. Visit the Gaylord Texan website for more hotel details or directions.
2. How do I make hotel reservations?
A special hotel rate of $149 per night at the Gaylord Texan has been arranged. To take advantage of this rate, you will need to make your hotel reservations no later than March 26, 2010. You can book your hotel room by calling the hotel directly at 1.817.778.2000 and asking for the TRX World rate.
3. Is there a registration fee for this event?
Registration is free if you stay at the Gaylord Texan. For guests not staying at the hotel, the registration fee is $200. A 50% refund will be given for cancellations. No refunds will be given after April 5, 2010. There are no refunds for “no shows”.
4. What is the attire?
The attire is business casual for all meetings and events.
5. What time do I need to arrive in DFW?
It depends. While the official opening reception for TRX World will begin at 6:30 pm at the Gaylord Texan on Monday, April 26, there will be a charity golf tournament and spa event, luncheon and one-on-one product consultations available starting at 12:00 p.m. that day. You might consider coming in on Sunday, April 25 if you’d like to take advantage of these value-added activities.
6. When should I schedule my departure?
We will adjourn the meeting on Thursday, April 29 at 1:00 p.m.
7. Do I need to rent a car?
No. All meetings and events will be held at the Gaylord Texan, which is 6 minutes from DFW Airport. Taxi fare between the airport and hotel is approximately $20 each way.
Yes. The Gaylord Texan provides on-site parking. A special discounted parking rate of $10/day for self-parking is available to attendees staying at the hotel, for guest not staying at the hotel a special discounted parking rate of $12/day will be charge for TRX World attendees. Valet parking is also available for $20.
9. How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
You will need to provide your own transportation to and from the hotel. Directions and public transportation options are available on the Gaylord Texan website.
10. Will I be able to check email?
Yes. We encourage you to make the most of your time at TRX World by joining the meetings, breakout sessions and demonstration areas, however we have scheduled adequate break time within in the agenda to allow for you to check email and attend to urgent business needs. The Gaylord Texan Hotel offers wireless internet access in the guestrooms, dining outlets and atriums.
11. Can I set up additional meetings while I am in Dallas/Fort Forth area?
Yes. We encourage you to make the most of your time at TRX World by joining the meetings, breakout sessions and demonstration areas; however, we have scheduled adequate break time within in the agenda to allow for you to check email and attend to urgent business needs.
